Situated on an extensive 34-acre expanse, our distillery exemplifies the essence of careful deliberation since its establishment in the 1960s. This sprawling location has been meticulously crafted to ensure flawless operational efficiency, while the surrounding landscape boasts lush greenery, fostering a tranquil and environmentally conscious ambiance.

At our distillery, we take pride in crafting some of the finest spirits available, including the distinguished Peter Scot and Peter Scot Extra Premium Whisky, the robust RedKnight Whisky, the renowned Hercules Deluxe Rum, the classic Khoday's Rum, and the exquisite Constantino Brandy .

Each of our brands embodies a unique blend of tradition and innovation, delivering exceptional quality and a memorable experience for every palate.
With a committed workforce of 450 employees, we ensure our plant runs smoothly and effectively. Each team member brings dedication and expertise to their role, contributing to the seamless and efficient operation of our facility.

Our Process

At Khoday we follow a precise process in the creation of our distilled brews

MALT GRINDING

Malt grinding, also known as milling, is a crucial step in the whisky-making process. It involves crushing the malted barley to break it down into a coarse flour called grist. The primary goal is to expose the starches inside the barley grains, making them accessible for conversion into fermentable sugars during mashing. We can grind 18 tons of malt a day, 549 tons a month and 6,750 tons a year.

MASHING

At our distillery, we take pride in our rigorous and consistent production process. Each day, we carefully craft 12 mashes, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail in every batch. This dedication adds up to 300 mashes each month, contributing to our robust production schedule. Over the course of a year, this commitment results in an impressive total of 3,700 mashes, reflecting our relentless pursuit of excellence and our passion for creating exceptional spirits.

DISTILLATION

Precision is at the heart of our production process, we marry cutting-edge technology with time-honored traditions to craft spirits of unmatched quality. Impressively, we can produce 10,000 litres of fresh malt spirit every day. We can produce almost 20 lakh litres per year.

MATURATION HALL

Our maturation room is built higher, with thinner walls and tin roofs. Often the casks are stored there upright and not horizontally. We can leave around 45,000 casks (72 lakh litres capacity) for maturation at a given point.
